Is it possible to beget children if the  milk is
poured in the snake pit
on the Nagachaturdhi  festival ?

It is said in the astrological science,

if the sign of Pachama (fifth sign) is effected

by the   planet Mars or if it has the Mars

aspect , certainly  the there will be

 negativeness for begetting the children.

And sometimes the planets like Rahu and

Kethu have also the same impact on the signs.

If the children are not born, then it is

considered that there is Santana Dosha.

So it is advised in the Sastras, if the dosha

is averted by doing the Naga pooja , Abhishekam

and also the other worship to the Lord  Muruga

(Subrahmanyaswamy or Kaartikeya or Kumara Swamy

different names of the lord) to eliminate the astrological faults.

The customs are being observed since long time.

To negate the Santana doshas by doing

the  worshipping the Nagadevata and

Muruga  which is strongly believed.

On the  Naga Panchami which is next to the

Suddha Naga Chaturthi which comes in the

month of Kaartika maasa (immediately

six days after Deepavali festival) for begetting

the offsprint, the snake pits are worshipped

with the soaked and germinated grains

and also  the cow milk. The milk is poured in the pit.

If  it is done like that  there is a speciality that

there may be chances  to get children besides devotion.

Doing the pooja means, it is some kind of pulsation

of the body and  by taking the Prasadam

which is made of grains etc.,  the nervous

system in the body is get stimulated

and is a chance to beget  children.
