What is the Altruistic view (Paramaardham)
when we offer the coconut to the God ?

In Hindu customs, what ever it is said,

for every custom there is certain reason and

the meaning which is related to the mundane

and as well as Param which is the next world.

Some thousands of years ago, there was a custom

of animals which were sacrificed to deities

(Jantu Bali) on account of the religious vows.

The animals were used to become victims.

Almost it was like a Jantu Himsa.

There were a  number of those Jantu bali,

for the sake of peoples’ religious vows .

At that time, when the Buddhism was started spreading ,

 there  the non-voilence movement was

customized and also propagated every where.

The proponents of the non-violence,

forbidded (prohibited) the Jantu Bali which  is

killing of the animals on account of religious vows.

Afterwards , then slowly  there was another

 custom which came into existence.

In  the place of Jantubali, the coconut has come for offering to deities.

Praying to the Lord and offering the Cocunut

means breaking the coconut as Naivedyam

to the Deity has come as a formal custom

which was also existed in the ancient time.

Means it was reapeated again.

Meaning of offering the coconut (breaking the coconut )

as Prasadam, the fibre of the coconut

indicated for our hair.  Hence that we are

offering ourselves by breaking the coconut to the God.

What are  the daanava
satwa qualities of a lady ?

The woman who can understand all the things well,

who can also know the unknown things well

and who can come forward with activeness for

all the things as if she feels a leader, and also

who neglects the worship of the divinity, and

who feels that she is capable of doing every

thing skillfully and also who afflicts (tortures)

others unncessarily is having the  Daanavasatwa qualities.
