What kind of benefit is achieved when
the Maha Rudrabhishekam is Performed   
Part –I


The Lord ,Maha Siva is the Abhisheka Priyah.

 He will be pleased if we worship

Him with Abhishekam itself. 

It is also said in the Rudra Kaamyaarchana,

if the Lord Siva is worshipped  with

the abhisheka of  Go Ksheeram (Cow’s milk)

 the devotee will be received Sarva Sowkhyas
(all the comforts in the world).


If the Lord Maheswara is worshipped

 by the abhishekam of Cow’s Curd (Go Dadhi)

one can achieve the endless comforts

(Ananta Sowkhyas) and the strength.


If the God  Siva is worshipped  with

the abhishekam of Cow’s Ghee (Go Ghrutam)

the devotee will acquire the  prosperity of wealth.


If the God Parameswara is worshipped

with the abhishekam of soft sugar (Sarkarah)

 the sorrows and difficulties will be removed.


If the Lord Siva is worshipped with

the abhishekam of Honey (Madhu)

one will get the prosperity of complexion

 (varchassu) and also the self confidence.


If the Lord Paramesa is worshipped

 with the abhishekam of  Bhasma jalam

 (the Vibhuti is mixed with the water)

the devotee’s  great sins (maha papas) will be removed.


If the Lord Siva is worshipped with the  abhishekam

of  sandal paste (Gandham) one will beget the progeny.


If the Lord Maheswara is worshipped with

the abhishekam  of water with the flowers ,

 the devotee can get the prosperity of

the lands, cultivation and their income.


If the Lord Siva is worshipped with the

Bilva jalam, the devotee will have

all the riches and luxuries (Bhoga Bhagyas).


If the Lord Maheswara is worshipped

with the abhishekam of Durvodakam (

 the grass with the water), the devotee  can

receive  the money which is lost (Nashta dravya prapti).
