Who are the Chiranjeevis (Long living) ?

In Mythologies , great Epics like Ramayana and Maha bharata , it is said, there were seven Chiranjeevis who will live for ever till the Yugas end. Still they will be treated and called as Chiranjeevis.

They are

1. Aswaddhama ( Dwapara Yuga)

2. . Bali Chakravarti (Kruta Yuga)

3. Vyasa Deva or Krishna Dwaipayana or Badarayana (Dwapara yuga)
4. Hanumanthah or Anjaneya Swamy ( Treya Yuga)

5. Vibheeshana (Youngest brother of Ravanasura, Treya Yuga)

6. Kripacharya (brother in law of Dronacharya, Treta yuga)

7. Parasuramah ( Treta Yuga)

These seven great persons are being called as Chiranjeevis and worth memorable . It is believed if we remember them in our day to life, all of our troubles will be removed and live upto hundred years with peace and happiness.

And another eighth person , Markendeya who was also Chiranjeevi. If we memorize Markendeya , we can live without any fear of death and will have long life.
