What is Dharma ? Why is it signified for the Mankind ?

The Dharmah means which bears all the Lokas (worlds) ( Dharati Viswam Dharmah , Dharati Lokaniti Dharmah).And also Dhriyate Vaa janairiti Dharmah it means which takes up by all the People . And another name is Veda Vihita Karma ( The actions which mankind does according to the code of law, said by the Vedas).

The basic root for Dharma is Vedah.

The real prosperity of peace and happiness and the existence of the mankind which is humanity, the Dharma is the source for all.

Only the Dharma nurtures the love of the Universe (Viswa Prema). Without the Dharma (love of all in the Universe or Cosmic) there will not be any peace and progress of any thing in this Universe.

In the Kruta Yuga, the penance is the Dharm of that Era.

The Spiritual Wisdom was the Dharma in the Treta Yuga.

The Yagns and other Sacred Rituals were the Dharma of the Dwapara Yuga.

The Charity which is offered without expecting any rewards from others is the Dharma in this Kali Yuga.

The name itself signifies for Mankind, if the people have the Kindness and sacrifisation.
In this world the Mankind shoud only speak the Truth (Satyam Vadami,). Satyam vada and Dharmam Chara). The mankind must speak the Truth and do the Dharma wholehearedly. And one should not put into trouble to others.

Eavery one ought to wish the Viswa Kalyanam means the peace and prosperity of the world. One should not have the jealosy for the wealth of others. Knowing the Sprititual knowledge of Eternal Bliss ( Athma Gnanam) and attaining that, all these come under the base of Dharmah.
