What are the three instruments and how to apply in our lives ?
If we think deep and deep , some of the Supreme Doer created this Universe with master plan. He gave the knowledge to the Man. Man is superior among other creatures. Such a wonderful and unimaginable creator in this world , is God what we calle Him. For our lives and comfortable livelihood , the God will be the main cause. He bestowed us three instruments which can not be equal to any thing in this world. They are greatest of all greatest.
The three instruments are,
1. Mind (Manah),
2. speech, 3.
Action (kriya).
They are also called Trikaranas. With these three instruments man does things and leads his life. But there must be relative euaqlity and flexible frequency in between three.
What every we think we should speak out. Whatever we speak we have to put into action. So Mind thinks, Mouth speaks, and the body works (does) for things.
One should implement into action what he thinks. In between the thought and the actions, the speech plays the key role.
These three instruments are called Trikaranas. And these must have purity. Mind (thought) must be pure, speech should be pure and the action must be pure.
Those who equalize the balance of those instruments in lives, certainly they ( the men) would be called as Mahatmas (great souls).
Those who do not do that they are called Duratmas.
The ancient Scholars said,
“Manasyekam Vachasyekam Karmanyekam Mahatmanaam,
Manasyanya Dwachasyanya tkarmanyanya Dduraatmanaam”
There fore it says one has to observe and follow those Trikarans equally and do good to this world for the peace and happiness.
