What for the Uttara Dwara Darshan on  the Ekadasi of Margaseersha maasa ?

The Ekadasi tidhi is most auspicious day for observing the Upavasa Deeksha (complete fasting) for Lord Sree Mannarayana.

In Every month the Ekadasi tidhi comes twice. One in the Sukla paksha and the other one in Krishna Paksha.

The Margaseersha Maasa is very special for the Darshan of Sree Mahavishnu on Suklapaksha Ekadasi tidhi.
This auspicious day is called Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

On this day, Lord Sree Maha Vishnu gets up from the Yoga Nidra. The Lord sleeps for four months i.e., from Aashadha Sukla Ekadasi to Maargaseersha Ekadasi. On Vaikuntha Ekadasi day, he gets up and protect the world, means Loka Samrakshana.

On this Vaikuntha Ekadasi day, all the Hindus have the Darshan of Sree Vishnu from the Uttara Dwara (Northern Entrance).

Means Lord faces towards the North and the Devotees enters the temples from the Northern side and have the Darshan of Him.  All believe it is most Holiness (Punyam).

On this Vaikuntha Ekadasi day if we have the Darshan and pray to Him, believe, certainly the Lord will bless us and we will be bestowed with Boons.

The Scripts say all the Deities and other Gods also have the Darshan of Sree Mannarayana  through the Northern Enterance on that Vaikuntha Ekadasi for their Holiness.
