Has the Ghee power of reducing the oldness ?

The Ghee has the nutritive  qualities for all the age group.

Both the health and nourishing point of view,

the ghee itself has taken place a key role even for the animals.

As per Ayurvedi medical science, some medicines

are made with cow ghee which is best.

And some  medicines must be taken with ghee only.

The ghee has got the power of retention (Dharana sakti) .

It icreases the age longvity , strength and

cooling effect  to  the body.

Also it makes the tone of the voice melodiously.

The abhyanganasnanam (the annointment)

with the ghee gives the best results for the health.

Our eleders in early days, just before  eating food,

they would add ghee on the cooked rice and

eat only few morsel of rice without touching the teeth.

Because of doing this, the gas inside the stomach

can be evaporated and after that,

hey used to drink little water and then eat food.

Even these days also the people follow

the old traditions for all the purpose

of health and hygenic point of way.

The ghee has the power to strengthen

the bones and increases the oil in the  bone marrow.

It is said taking ghee in the food by

heating  it up once a day , causes the best health results.

What is Sandhya Kaalam (Twilight) ?

We know the time means Kaalam.

Actually the Kaalam is meant for Mrutyuh.

The lord of Mrutyh is Yamadharmaraja.

He has got another name Kaalah.

We the Hindus use repeatedly the word

Kaalakshepam in our discussions or any other topics.

Where there is a birth there is certainly death.

“Jaatasyahi Dhruvo mrutyuh”.

The birth is for death.

In between both of them , the time ,

means the life is given for divinity.

Though we live in the Bhava Bandhas (Samsara)

like a lotus we have to live  in this world

by  unattachment  with the samsaram.

Then only the real meaning of Kaalakshepam

can be used for only spiritual  life.

We can conqur the death.

Here, in the usage, when the stars and

the Sun do not shine, that time is called Sandhya Kaalam.

Means, in the morning before the Moon sets and

before the  Sun rises , in  between the time

is known as Sandhyakaalam.

Like wise, in the evening, before the Sun sets and

before the Moon rises, in between the time

 is also called Sandhyakaalam.

Those two Sandhyakaalams are so sacred.

In this sacred Sandhyakaalam, if we do Japa,

Meditation, pranaayaam, chanting of sacred hymns,

and  all the other divine observace gives us

the excellent result and power to mind and heart.

Why should not we dig the
land (Bhoomih) on Tuesdays ?

There is an inter relativity between  the Planets, time  and the days.

The planet Mars (Kujah) is the son of the mother Earth.

Tuesday which is Mangalavaram is the symbolic for the Mars.

Means mars is the lord of Tuesday.

If the mother earth is scooped out (perforated),

why should  the son Mars keeps quite ?

Naturally he turns against the others

who torments or treats cruelly to the mother.

More over the Planet Mars has got impetous

 valour and entity of fire.

How much the discipline and law and order,

the Mars has got simultaneously more than

he is a  rigid disciplinarian.

Scooping the  land (earth)  means,

 it  is for getting water.

If the land or earth is dug on Tuesdays,

because of the entity of fireness of Mars,

it happens the wanter can not be

occured or obtained in the earth.

Hence for the purpose of water or constructing  a

building etc must not he done on Tuesdays.

What are the religious pieties  (Daanam)
to be offered  for the Nava Grahas ?

According to our Sastras like Vedas and Mythologies ,

it is said clearly the Danam (religious offers )

for  the Navagrahas for the relief of toubles,

 and sufferings of human beings.

Every human being is born with troubles and sorrowfulness.

Man is  a social human being.

He seeks the remedy for his troubles and

wants to get away from them and for peace and happy life.

He borns with many faiths and sentiments.

As per Sastras and  Puranas, it was said,

for the worshipping of Grahas,

Arkha (Calotropis gigantea) for the Sun,

Palasah (flame of the forest or Butea frondosa)

for the Moon,  Chandra ( a lomd pf acacoa tree),

for Angaraka (kuja), Apaamargah (Uttareni tree),

for the Budha (mercury), Aswatha (Pipal) ,

for Guru (Jupiter), Udumbara ( species of fig tree) ,

for Sukra (Venus),

the Samee for Saturn (Sani),

Ganikaa for Rahu and  Kusah (Darbha) for Ketu are to be used.

For the Danas (religious pieties) ....

One Cow (or else idol image) to be offered for the Sun,

One Conch (Sankhuh) for the Chandra,

One reddish Ox  (Vrushabha) (or else idol image) for the Kuja,

the Gold for the Budha,

the new cloths for the Guru,

One white Horse (or else idol image) for the Sukra,

One black cow ( or else idol image) for Saneeswara,

the Payasam for the Rahu and

One he-goat for the Ketu to be offered.

And for the remedy of our troubles and sorrowness,

worship   and make the deities with graciousness, and

the religious offerings should be given as Danam.

Why did Sree Rama kill  Vali  from the
clandestine of the tree  (hidden by)?

Sree Rama was the Sampurna Avatara of

Lord Sree Maha Vishnu and was

the seventh incarnation of the Lord Sree Vishnu in  the Tretayuga.

Sree Rama was the Dharma murthy.

He Himself Vigrahvan Dharmah. Raghuvamsa Tilakah (means

He was the best in all respects).

He was the  poorvabhashi,  mitabhashi and hitabhashi

(If any person comes in front of Sree Rama,

He speaks first, He speaks very limitl and

speaks the welfare of others) ( Sree Rama was
Smita Bhashi, Purva Bhashi and Hita Bhashi ).

He was born in the dynasty of  Surya  and

He was a Kshatriya and also a great valour  and has a heroic bravery.

The Kings have the profession of hunting and also

 it is a Raja Dharma.

Mostly the Kings kill the wild  animals from the hidden place.

More over in the Ramayana, the Vali a Vanara King and

brother of Sugreeva who were both great valours.

But the Vali has got great boon , when he fights

with any opponents,  he gets the half of their valour.

Having bravery the Vali gets the half of others’ strength.

There he normally kills others easily in the fighting or war.

Here Vali is also a animal. Having knowledge and Dharma,

Vali illegally made Sugreeva’s wife  his own by force.

And more over Vali with his kingship power always

used to quarrel with Sugreeva and always beat him

and Sugreeva used to run away from Vali to save his life.

So Vali has got all the actions of a power beast.

Hence Sree Rama killed the Vali who behaved like  a wild beast

from a hidden place which was behind  a tree.

What is the speciality of the oblation (Naivedyam)

(food offered to the Deity) in the Dhanurmasa (Pushyamasa) ?

In general the Dhanurmasa comes in the month

of December which the Hemanta Rutuh starts.

It is said in our Sastras one has to get up

early in the morning (before 4.30 am).

Once the Kaalakrutyas (morning chores) are over,

one has to worship the God or Goddess.

Ofcourse, in this Dharnurmasa we normally

worship the Godadevi and the lord Sree Narayana

in the form of  the lord Sri Krishna Swamy.

The Sastras say one should not go to the see

the elders, pregnant woman and

the infants or babies without taking any

present (Bahumati). In that case, the Lord

who is the creator of this entire universe

must be worshipped atleast with oblation of food offering.

In this Dhanurmasa,  at the time of worshipping the God,

the Krusarah (special dish made of rice and split green gram)

Payasam, and  Dadhyodanam (curd –rice seasoned with spice)

are offered as prasadam.

In the winter season, the pangs of hungry (jatharaagni)

increases in the stomach and then improves the hungry.

This Jatharaagni gets cooling by eating the

Saatwika food (bland diet).

The milk, curd, green gram are for the cause

of cooling the body. So as they have such

kind of qualities, that kind of Naivedyam is being offered .

As per Ayurveda and Jyotisha Sastras,

if we take the good qualities of that food,

naturally the Satva guna developes and

we can have the best results in our lives.

Why should not we  keep the oil lamp
on the floor  for woshipping the God ?

Prayer from our hearts  to the God must be pure .

All the tensions, sankalpas, impurities etc .,

must be cleaned from the heart

when we pray to the Lord.

Whenere the man lives naturally he seeks for the

cleanliness and neatness .

So, then the man must see to have the purity in his heart also.

Like that, for the worshipping of  the Lord,

the lighting lamp indicates the Wisdom (Jnana)

which takes away the darkness of ignorance and illusion.

So when we worship the God (means our own Athma

which pervades everwhere)  there will not be

any kind of impurities.

Hence, when we lit the lamp for worshipping,

it should not be placed on the floor.

The lamp must be kept on any leaf  and

 then offer to the God.

The Earth does have the  high magnetic force.

When we pray the Lord with devotional hymns,

our devotion and piousness reaches the

Lord through the lamp which is Jnana (knowledge).

At that moment, the God’s Anugraham  (blessings)

reaches to us  through the lighting lamp while doing prayer,

the Earth attracts that blessings inside.

Hence, before  doing Japa Saadhana, or meditation

or worshipping the lord, we have to place any

kind of mat, cloth, grass for our sitting posture

and then do  the devotional practice.
