What are the eternal  truths in life ?

The truth is not only  the shining but

also the scorching heat of the Sun.

The truth is the constant rememberance

and also applicable in every moment in life.

Even a billionaire can not purchase

his lifespan even for one second.

If the  same billionaire dies, the successors

can not  keep his dead body at home and

cremate that body in the burial ground

which is outside of the town.

The billionaire and the begger

both are same in the creamation ground.

Even the highly qualified and  most

experienced  doctors treat  him,

but  his final journey to the

other world can not be stopped.

Even if you are the Emperor to the

entire world,  you have to know that

you are not the lord of your lifespan.

When the time comes, you will truly

 die the moment itself.

Even if you are the Alexander the

great to the world, you can

 not conquer your death.

The time which is existing is most

valuable and there is no state

or shape for tomorrow and the future.

Do not be overjoyed as you are billionaire

or the Emperor, when the death comes

all those wealth and the kingship

 will not follow with you.

Since the time is most precious,

you should not waste  every second.

Which you eat is transformed  and is split

on the ground (which is ruined),

but whatever  you give to others

(in the form of  charities)  that will be

credited into your account of spiritual merits.

The wealth or anything  (which you earned

or gained ) which is saved can definitely

be slipped  away from you but

what you offer  and help to others

that entire virtue  can be saved

 into your spiritual account.

Does the  melodious  music has the ability
to take away the diseases from us ?

Sisurvetti Pasurvetti  Vetthi gaana rasahphanih”

One of the greatest quotations has been

existed in the world, that the infants know

the supremity of the  music, the cattle knows

the greatness of the  music and

the snakes know the  highness of the music.

The meaning of Music is Sangeetham.

The music has got its power to

subjugate anyone into its enraptured  fold.

The fold is nothing but ecstasy which

s also known as Paravasam.

The good music (classical) brings the

animation and sensation  in the bones.

So with this the bones gets stengthen.

The music is based on some Raagas.

The Raaga is an order of music.

In the winter, the Raaga, Bharavi

treats the diseases of cough and throat etc.,

The Raaga, Gaandhara in music

cures the cordiac diseases.

Because of  the music, the brain

nervous system gets stimulated and

gents  animated and one can live healthy

and happily what Ayurveda Sastram says.

Those who read the story of a Sage,  the Raaga,

Maalkhose which also known as Hindola raaga

increases the prowess ( bravery) is

well known to all of us.

Even after the surgeries for certain

health problems ( specially in the heart surgeries),

the music plays a key roll to keep us

in extreme delight and also in

tranquility state what  the Doctors advice.

Therefore the Sangeetham (Music)   solace us

from our bondage grievances and afflictions.

The Sangeetham belonging to the melody  which

is classic certainly bestows the boon of ecstasy

in respect to health , happiness  and also longvity.

How to get rid of one year age
for every month ?

The Ayurveda Sastra is the most ancient

medical science which was naturally and

scientifically proved and handed over to the

mankind  by the Sage, Charaka who

was a father of the science.

The Aswini Deities are the  ruling

 deities for the  health science.

The meaning of Ayurveda,  which itself

says the knowledge of longvity (Jnana of Ayuh).

The Earth is the first mother which  bestows

us for our lives  with its natural resources.

The entire universe is depended upon the

Earth for its survival,  as there is no doubt if we study.

What ever the other  medical sciences are

developed to higher levels, the Ayurveda Sastra

has got its fabulous and surprising   naturopathic

science that  gives the root cause for every

aspect of different sections like diseases,

hearbal treatment, what kind of food  is to

be taken including other elements

(panchbhootas) like water, air etc.,

The  good  food and water are the

main sources to keep up our body

 healthy live up hundred years.

The good conduct and character and

disciplined life is also another thing to

maintain  health and peace forour body and mind.

The fruits are one of the most naturopathic

food which has been  given by the mother earth.

If we want to live younger than our age.

We have to only eat the fruits in a day.

Means we should have to eat f

ruits three times a day.

If we practice and do determnly like three

days  in a month (  we should take fruits only

for three days in a month),  all the impurites

(intoxication) in the body will be removed .

If  any impossible and incapable thing is taken

up on our shoulders to fulfil in life,

then we should better go for eating fruits

only and see the wonderful result

which  we can achieve,   what the

Charaka Mahamuni (great Sage) said.

The fruits has got such a amazing

food for one and all.

The fruits are the food for the Deities

what the Ayurveda says.

So if we cat fruits, certainly we can become

young in looking and energetic wise also.

How to take the bath in the
 ocean ( Samudra snanam) ?

Specially on the occasions of the festivals, it is

said that we have to take bath in the oceans.

On full moon days which are called as Pournami ,

specially on some pournami days the

samudra snanam should be done what the Sastras say.

In the months of Maagha maasa,

Vaisakha maasa, Aashadha maasa, and

Kaartika maasa , particularly  on the

pournami  (full moon ) days, taking bath

in the ocean is very auspicious which is believed.

On the occasions of some festivals

also we take the bath. But , before

taking bath in the ocean (or sea) first

we have to take the bath with the

cold water and then complete

the snanam in the sea .

Again after that we should

take the bath with cold water.

Because, the ocean water does

 have the  much salt.

Bathing in the salt water is not advisable

and it causes for illeness and

more over  spending much time

for bathing in the seas  is also not advised.

Why is  the Bride  brought in a basket
to the Kalyana mandapam ( marriage pavilion )  ?

The marriage customs are so

auspicious and have the meaning .

The Goddess Sree Mahalakshmi

lives in the lotus flower.

On the occasion of marriage,

the  Bride is brought in a basket.

The Bride herself is a Sree Mahalakshmi

and the basket is a lotus flower.

So symbolically the bride who is

Goddess  Sree Lakshmi

is brought in a basket of lotus flower.

Why do we apply the turmeric paste lightly
on the edges of the Invitation cards
on asuspicious  occasions ?

The invitation cards are extended to

friends and relatives on the occasions

 of auspicious time.

They are known as Aahvaana patrika.

Particularly on the occasions of marriage

ceremonies, other religious rituals,

and family functions and other purposes

 the invitation cards are used.

For the marriage functions and

the invitations are called  as Subhalekha.

In the mythology, there was a narrative

 that Sree Mahalakshmi and

Sree Jyeshta devi both were  sisters.

There was a discussion among where

they have to  stay and their places.

 The younger sister Sree Mahalakshmi

went to the ocean and remianed  hiding   in it.

The elder sister Sree Jyeshtadevi

wanted her to come out from the ocean.

At the time when their entanglement

has come to solve, Sree Mahalakshmi said

her dwelling place where actually  she stays.

Among those places, the turmeric is

 one where Sree Mahalakshmi lives.

Hence,  for the marriage invitations (Subhalekha) ,

the turmeric paste with gragrance

is smeared to the edges  and invite

 to the Goddess Sree Mahalakshmi.

By following this custom and remembering

that Goddess , there is a belief of

Her Grace will be always with

us what the Mythology says.

The elder sister Sree Jyeshta devi

will not enter to those places.

This kind of custom which is applying

the turmeri paste to the edges  of the

 invitions are also applied for

 the purposes of other occasions.

What are the important things to be
remembered in the morning before doing Pooja ?

The Idols of the Deities are placed in the

north eastren (either north corner or east corner )side.

Means when we do the pooja, we must face

towards the north eastern side or eastern side.

In the monring when we start Pooja to the

Deities,   we have to keep all the Pooja dravyas

 (like, flowers,  fruits, coconut, naivedyam,

turmeric, kumkum etc )  in the left side.

We should not pluck all the flowers of the plants

or trees in our house (or anywhere) and should not

think  that the trees can blossom tomorrow also.

The trees should not be appeared without flowers.

So, we  do not see the trees without flowers.

We should not keep the pooja dravyas in the

steel vessesls or plates, or prepare the Akshitas,

Sandal paste etc., and also  should not make

the Sree Gowri devi with the turmeric

and sandal paste. It is restricted.

Even the Akshatas which are made

and kept in a bottle or small tins

that can not be used all  at a time.

Like flowers from the trees those Akshatas

are also  used little for worshipping the Deities.

If the flowers which are  plucked from the

trees of neighbouring houses, should

not be used to worship the Deities.

If it is done like that, the pooja phalam

(the result for the worship) can be achieved by beighbours.

In the days of Chaaturmaasya ( the four months

which comes from the Aashadha Suddha

Ekadasi to Kaartikamaasa)  the Tulasi plants

(Basil trees) must not be moved from

 one place to another place.

On the Fridays, when the  pooja is begun

for the Deities , Sree Lakshmi, Sree Saraswathi

and the Sree Ganapathi, before that, the

Avaahanam should be done.

At the ending of the pooja  we s

should not do the Vudvaasana.
