head  bath with cold water ?

In the Panch Bhootas, water takes one

of the important part not only in our lives ,

also to all the living  creatures for protecting .

Regarding to us, the water is more essential in

every moment as we can not define so clearly

for what the purpose it is needed, except

it is vital part to us as every one know well.

With regards to the bath, the scripts

say taking the  bath in the river  and

ocean is good for the health.

The Head contains  so  many cells which

related to the wisdom or knowledge.

To stimulate those cells, the natural

cold water can help that process.

Therefore it is said, taking bath in the river

or in the ocean is always best , or else if it is not

possible, then take the  bath with the natural cold water .

Why do we offer the eyes in the peacock’s feather
which is called a plumage of peacock ( pincham)
 to the Lord Siva ?

The Peacock’s plumage ( the feather with the eyes of a peacock)

signifies for the auspiciousness and something right good.

There is no other creature in the universe

with  such  holyness  like the Peacock.

The feather of the Peacock which is called

plumage has got the power to eleminate the

venom (poisonous elements) and the dirt  in the air.

The offering the feather of the Peacock ( plumage)

 devotionally to the lord Maheswara,

is for receiving the Grace from the Lord.

The Grace of the Lord Siva is more

powerful to nullify our sins and

also other doshas of the unforeseen curses.

Why did the Sastras say to  wear the
Nava Ratna Ring ( the Ring consists of nine gems) ?

Since the ancient time, people have been using

the Nava Ratnas (nine gems) in different ornaments.

Though it might be the custom, but the ancient

scripts say about the geomology (Ratna Sastra)

in detail, what the result is given by the different gem.

The particular gem gives the good results and also

the negative results on different situations.

The Gems are also called Stones in common language.

These days, almost for the past 3 to 4  decades,

the cheating and adulteration have been increased

in business because of the greediness and covetousness,

since the  people purchasing the  gems  by spending

much money on them , but the gems are not orginal.

Accquiring the  original gems   are

difficult, even if the money is spent.

We feel as if they are original since

we spent a lot of money on them.

In the human body, there are nine  elements

which are Dhatavah in sanskrit language.

The gems only tell the inner meaning

 (paramaardham ) of those elements.

Let us see these things abou the Gems ......

The Coral (Pravalam) is  indicating  the blood.

The Pearl signifies the bones.

The Topaz indicates for the flesh.

The Supphire is signifies the Hair (Siroja)

The precious stone, Lapis Lazuli ( which is Vaidhooryam) is signifying the Fat.

The green  coloured precious stone which is also called Topaz ( Gomedhikam ) is indicating the strength.

The red crimmson coloured Ruby is signifying the semen which Veeryam.

The Diamond stone is indicating for the Spine.

The Emerald (Marakatam) is signifying for the Nails.

If we go deep into the Ratna Sastram and also

the Astrology simultaneouly,  the Ratnas must be

worn according to the planetary sistuations and

most importantly we have to consider

for the real Gems, but not the duplicate stones.

Real gems certainly give the best results if we wear

them according to the planetary position and  also

to be considered   the period of the planet is running.

Why do we sprinkle water on our heads before enter
the temple while washing out feet ?

The Proverbs are so  many and the
quotations are also many, if we see the literature .

“Sarvendriyanaam Nayanam Pradhanam.”

means the eyes are the main sensual organ

 for visualizing the world.

But the head is called as Uttamaangam  means

which is the central point of all the organs.

All the sensual organs have been

created  in the part of head only.

The brain, eyes, nose, mouth, ears

can be seen in the part of head only.

The Uttamaangam which is  head

(Sirah in sanskrit language) is the main cause

for all our thoughts, ideas and actions.

The human being is superior to all

other creatures in this universe.

In all three actions, one should possess

the   trikarana suddhi.

Manasa  Vaacha and Karmanaa , we have to

think, see and do the good only and become Godliness.

Hence, the Uttamaangam, which is head becomes

the central point (kendra bindu) of the human body.

Why do we sprinkle water on our heads before enter
the temple while washing out feet ?

When we visit the temple or before doing

the Pooja or doing any Vratam,  we have

to spatter the pure water on our heads

and become pure and deserved for doing

 the religious observance or rituals.

When we become purer by doing sprinkle

the water on the heads and having  the feelings

of that the God is  the most sacred , and then begin

the Pooja or Vratram and enter the temple for worship the Lord.

Why the mother and the father are superior
than any thing in this world ?  - Part II

Giving regards to the father and the mother

with devotional joined palms, means the result

which we receive as equal to by  doing the

circumambulation around the earth (Bhoo Pradakshinam)

for six times,  and visiting the Kasi Kshetra

thousand times as pilgrimage and taking the

bath hundrend times  in the ocean (Samudra Snanam) .

Such a great Phalam (result) we can get.

The Vedas say, that those who are the

son and the daughter can not make their parents

happily and peacefully in life, means those

who do not take care of their parents happily

and comfortably in their life, the children are

vile persons and the  flesh of their is

wretched than the flesh of a street dog.

There is an abolition (nivrutthi) for every

swearing  (Saapanaardham).

But if a  mother sheds tears (Asruh dhara)

(if the mother weeps on account of chidlren’s

behavious or any other thing), there is no remedy

even for offering one lakh Cows as charity

and doing  a thousand Aswamedha Yagas.

It means, even if we offer the charity of cows and

do the Aswamedha Yagas that Saapam (swearing)  can not

be taken away once if we put our mother into troubles.

The Dharma Sastras say that there is no offence

(dosham) when demoralized father is detested

by his degenerated (spoiled) children.

But a demoralized mother is disrespected and

illtreated by her children will be treated as offence.

There is no other  God or Goddess who excels the mother.

And there is no  other Mantra which excels the Gayatri .

What are the qualities of a Gaja Sattwa lady ?

The lady who searches for her food and  who

 immediately sleeps with drowsiness,

who shows interests on neighbourings’ words

and information, and the lady who has

got temperament is known as Gajasattwa lady.

Why the mother and  father are
superior than any thing in this world ?  - Part I

Every one can know about their parents’  love and

their sacrifisation and how they are venerable persons.

They are worthy of worships.

The mother is the weightiest of all

other things in the world.

Even than the Earth.

It means, the mother has a great patience than the earth.

The father is higher (vunnatah) than the sky.

It means, the father is a magnanimous person.

If once the father and the mother are paid

with devotional gesture with joined palms,

the consequences would be the same as we offer

the Cow to any worthy person as charity (Go Daanam).

It means it is equal to other thing.

The mother is Truth, and the father is Wisdom (Jnanam).

A professior (Acharyah)  is so greater than

ten worthy teachers (Upadhayah).

But the father is so greater than hundred professors.

But the mother is so greater than that father

what our sacred scriptures say.

How is a girl to be called at
different ages in the family. ?

In all the families,  all most all  the parents

called their children (girl and boy) fondly\

in  different  pet names though the children

are  given  original names  after births .

The pet names will also have been continued in future time.

But in the case of girls, what ever the

pet names are given including their

original names, they must be called upto ten years

as Kumaree, Kalyani, Rohini, Sambhavi, Durga and so on.

And when once they attain majoriy

( at the age of their youth) the girls

will  have to be  called as Yavvanaa, Proudha .

When they reach the old age, they must be

Why the grief or suffering can
not be set right in this universe ?

The hard work , the effort and the involvment

can achieve the success and fulfil one’s own desire in life.

Some times the fortune knocks the door

even for the   poorest if  he makes trails sincerely.

He must have purity of heart including his efforts.

Whatever the  least results he get, he can

atisfy himself by what he achieves.

Here, he has  contentment   in his heart.

If not he will suffer like any thing and he will

be totally  unhappy till the end of his life.

Even the God can not set right the man’s grief

and  jealosy who suffers  a lot about others’ achievements

and their wealth since he has not got that much.

The man who has the contenetment  even

for his  least possessness and who expresses

his most happiness  heartfeltly with others’ wealth ,

can be treated as the greatest of all in this world.
