Why should not we keep the Sivalinga and worship it at our homes ?

Lord Siva is Abhisheka Priyah. Every day we have to do the Pooja for Him and 

also do the Abhishekam without fail.  And also sometimes the Sivalinga should 

be worshipped by reciting Namaka Chamaka and Rudra Parayanam. And also

 after worship Prasad Nivedana must be done. Means preparing any Pulihora, Chitrannam, Payasam etc must be cooked and offered to the Lord for the 

Shanti  and content purpose,

If we do this daily  without any obstruction, then we can keep the Sivalinga at 

our homes.

All those sacred pooja devotionally and firmly. The days are modern and fast forwarding days and people are running after the changing technology, media fashion , money and other fascinating things. So very difficult to do those devotional worship. First of all the concentration and the sacredness are being declined day by day. Totally the complete geneation gap has been placed in 

every house.

So. if not possible to do the worship of Sivalinga daily certainly there will be negative effects will be happened to those persons who keep the Sivalinga 

at their homes. Hence, Nitya pooja must for the Lord Siva.

Then always, better to give the Sivalinga to any Temple where always the Nitya Pooja rituals are done.
