What is the meaning of “Ati Sarvatra Varjayet” and
When are not they to be applied in life ?

Sanskrit is the most ancient and almost it is foremost
language in the world. It has
marvellous meanings even for a single world.
“Ati” means excessive. In the Sastras, it is said the
excessiveness should always be abandoned in the actions
of our lives.

If we have desire to accquire any thing, after the desire
is fulfilled, we should not go beyond the limits to get more
and more. Due to the too muchness the ultimate result
would be grief, loss and toubles.

In the Mythologies it shows, because of excessiveness some
great people had lost their happiness and got sorrowness.
The sacred Sita Maata was most beautiful in Ramayana.
Because of her beautiness she was plundered by Ravana,
the mighty Rakshasah. Hence she was away from Sree Ramachandra for one year and had the troubles and grief.

Because of too much arrogance and prigness the mighty Ramana
was killed by the Lord Sree Ramachandra.
In the Kruta yuga, the king Bali (Bali Chakravarti was a Demon ) was the grand son of the great devotee, Prahlada. When Lord Sree Mahavishnu approached Bali Chakravarti in the form of
Vamana ( most beautiful short boy) for yachana (asking)
for three feet of ground. Then King Bali donated Him the entire world and finally the king lost every thing was suppressed
to Patala Loka.
Because of excessiveness one loses everything.
If anyone eats excessive food and drinks liquor certainly
he will die.
Because of excessive talking (noise) one will get ridicule.
Because of greediness one can get misfortune.
Hence it is said too muchness should be removed and
it should not be entertained at any time.
